ABOUT US

Ostel.in is the creation of a Hotelier and an Entrepreneur, dedicated to curating experimental community experiences, managing hostel operations, and promoting planet-friendly architecture and interior design. It reflects a deep interest in the diverse socio-cultural geographies of our shared world and a concern for its degradation. The founders were drawn to Pondicherry as this location best embodies their vision of the world as a shared habitat and a lifestyle of shared resources.

With a profound understanding of various social psychologies and a preference for maintaining a low profile, the founders have designed a sensitive cohabitat suitable for all types of travelers, from the socially outgoing to the selectively social. Ostel.in in Pondicherry opened its doors on August 1, 2022.

Finally, our proximity to  both  the international township of Auroville and the last known French colony of India -  Pondicherry, and our staff tuned in to the local events, our  guests get to immerse themselves in the Aurovillian Sustainable Practices and the French ‘mode de vie’ .
